About smolppp
smolppp.com helps you understand the true cost of online subscriptions across different countries by adjusting prices based on Purchasing Power Parity (PPP).
Our Mission
We believe that digital services should be accessible to everyone, regardless of where they live. Our mission is to raise awareness about how subscription costs vary significantly relative to local incomes and highlight companies that offer PPP-adjusted pricing.
Why PPP Matters
A $10/month subscription might be affordable in high-income countries but can represent a significant percentage of monthly income in other regions. PPP adjustments help compare prices fairly across different economies.
How We Calculate PPP
We use World Bank PPP conversion factors and GDP per capita data to estimate how much a service would cost in different countries if the price were adjusted to match the same percentage of income as in the United States.
Our PPP factor is calculated by comparing GDP per capita (PPP adjusted) of a country to the United States. This gives us a rough estimate of how prices should be adjusted to maintain similar affordability.

Disclaimer
While we strive for accuracy, the PPP-adjusted prices shown are estimates and may not perfectly reflect economic realities. Companies set their own prices based on many factors beyond PPP.
